View Full Version : I had the best customers...
September 21st 06, 04:54 AM
I Just wanted to say that over the last 10 years of selling and
supporting my flight planning software, AirPlan, I may not have had the
most customers in the industry, but from all the kind and supportive
emails I received from my customers, I clearly had the BEST customers!
Thanks to everyone! I have dealt with some people in recent years that
kind of shook my faith in the general aviation inductry (at a Boise
based avionics employer where I worked for just over a year, you can
guess who that was), but from my experience with my own customers, I
have to say that the majority of GA pilots are great people.
I have always enjoyed reading the threads on this group and will
continue to do so. I have been accuse of spamming RAP before, and
didn't mean to **** anyone off, but after following this group for
years, I know that is pretty much impossible no matter what you post...
:)
I will still hang out here, but no more flight planning software
business of my own anymore. Sigh.
Blue skies and low 100LL prices to you all.

P.S. can you believe we are still paying $2.90 for auto gas in Idaho?
I hear it is down to $2.30 in places like Missouri.

$2.19 yesterday in Rock Hill, SC at my usual stop. If I looked around I could
probably find another place in town for 3-4 cents cheaper. They say it'll drop
below $2 soon.
Now, I live in Charlotte, NC just across the border from Rock Hill. Gas just up
the street from my house was 20 cents higher than my usual stop in Rock Hill,
which is why I buy my gas in SC instead of NC. Besides, I work in SC.
BTW, I'm sure glad I don't live in Idaho. <G> Sorry about your business.

And it will hover somewhere around $2 a gallon until the day after the first
Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Expect it to be back to $3 by
New Year's Day.

Paradise isn't bumper to bumper traffic and people standing shoulder to
shoulder.
