View Full Version : Taildragger rental in Ohio
September 25th 06, 12:19 PM
I am a 700 hour plus private pilot who would like to build my
taildragger time in
either a champ or J3 or similar aircraft. I am looking for someplace
in ohio, preferebly
north half of ohio as I live in Mansfield, to rent an aircraft.
I would be happy to rent from a private owner also.
I have my own insurance.
Please contact me with any leads,

Joe,
Have you looked at SkyPark in Wadsworth?

I haven't been out there yet, but I'll be giving them a look when I go for my
tw endorsement. The block rate is listed at $60/hr and seems very reasonable
for a taildragger (C140).

Might still be a Champ available at 16G.

Doubt if you can block it @ $60 an hour, but only way to find out is
call...

Ditto Skypark, haven't rented there yet, but many good
recommendations. Planning to do some tailwheel time next summer.
