They finally replaced that old 2-32 with a DG808! Way to go Microsoft.

Something looks a little odd in that picture.

yeah -they've got the wings all wrong -way too bendy!!
and you have to ask why a DG808S -the least succesful
18 m class glider ever produced? (nb. we are talking
the sailplane version not the motorglider) -why not
a Ventus 2CX , ASG29 or LS8-18?

Anyway seems you need a really top end system to run
FSX properly - generally the flightsim community isn't
impressed with FSX at the moment.

Should add that if you want to know more about soaring
in MSFS you should visit www.virtualsoaring.org and
www.fsglider.de where you will find some nice virtual
sailplanes including an LS8-18.
Wonder why they didn't do the Genesis2? -after all
is a more modern American sailplane?

Did you check out the available "missions" in FSX? I was suprised to
see introduction to Soaring....looks like they are flying over tonapah!
oh well, it was only a demo.
