I went up with my boyfriend today, first time in a small plane. I think was
a King Air. He said it is customary to show your breasts above five thousand
feet. My girlfriend and I did it, but was he messing with us?. My girlfriend
had bigger breasts than I did and were perky suckers. I think I am going to
get my pilot license it was fun.

Blonds have more fun.

Actually, above 5,000 feet in a King Air full nudity is
proper. Next time take a vid-camera and post the video ,
be sure to get plenty of close-ups of every female so we can
vote on whether her bigger than yours. Be sure that the
N-number or any other identification on the airplane is
covered.

One the subject of your boyfriend, be sure to get pictures
of his feet, groin and wrist watch so we can verify whether
he is a real pilot.

BTW, what do you do if a blonde throws a hand grenade at
you? Pull the pin and throw it back.

I always fly topless, so I'm not sure. Not a pretty site.

Years ago I read a pilot report about a all woman cross
country race. The woman who wrote the story commented that
she would remove her shirt and bra to sunbath under her
plane's bubble canopy. Worked well until she had an engine
failure and landed successfully at an airport and had to
dress in a hurry.

No he was telling the truth. Your next step is to join the mile high club.
That should be easy in a king air.

I'm thinking this is just a simulation and the air is leaking out of her.

I'm afraid he was lying.

Entry to the Mile High Club is not achieved until reaching six thousand feet,
as all aviation speeds and altitudes are represented in Nautical
measurements. (1NM = 6000')

And as long as we're splitting hairs concerning the Mile-High Club, a
nautical mile is actually 6,076 feet.

That has to be AGL. A ski lodge in Aspen does not count.

Your boyfriend was correct. This has been a long tradition in our area.
Among the rental crowd, it is cutomary that topless ladies ride for free.
We've always used statute miles for the mile high club because it was
established when MPH was being used on airspeed indicators. The 5 mile high
club has always used nautical miles, because it was done IFR, and yes, these
altitudes are AGL.
