Selling my LS-4 - moving up to V2bx.

------------------------------------------ CUT HERE
-----------------------------------------------------------------

LS-4 N478DJ 'X3' s/n 4090 circa 1982.
LS-8 factory winglets installed 18 months ago (Eastern Sailplanes did
the install)
SN-10B flight computer with Volkslogger secure logger
New Micro-Aire transceiver with boom mike
Wheelbrake recently refurbished - excellent braking action
Original wood trailer, in excellent condition (door/ramp and all
hardware recently refurbished)
Tow-out gear and wing wheel
parachute

Damage history:
- boom cracked about 5 years ago, repaired by Murray (Eastern
Sailplanes)
- minor underbelly damage on gear-up landing, repaired by Dave Nelson

Wings and fuselage are in excellent condition and the plane is
race-ready. I have had this bird since about 1995 or 1996, and have
flown it in many contests. It is certainly competitive in Sports
Class, and the LS-8 winglets make it even better than a normal LS-4.
It thermals tighter and slower, with no tendency to wander or buffet.
No loss of inter-thermal efficiency at all. I've made several 50+ mph
tasks, and even a 60 or two.
