For over a year now I've been publishing a blog (web log) about my
experiences in becoming a sailplane pilot. People new to the sport might
find it interesting, so I'll announce it here occasionally. I post an
article every week or two. You can find my blog at
http://rogersoaring.blogspot.com. The first articles start at
http://rogersoaring.blogspot.com/2003/04/first-instructional-day.html

I thought more people might start blogging on the subject, but so far there
are very few. The only other one I am aware of is

I started learning in March 2000 and completed Silver in August 2001. At
the time I was e-mailing a non-flying friend about the whole experience.
I later turned this into a diary: its on my website at:
