Must admit I could never get too excited about the Cherokee 140s that
EAA used to offer as a sweepstakes prize, but the brand new Husky up
for grabs this year is damn nice airplane!

Is operation of a float equipped Husky for landing on the beaches of
islands off the California coast a realistic possibility? Is there an
issue with reaching the beach safely through the surf?
