Hi,

we have a problem here. For a small R22 school we need a new CFI. The
CFII we want, however, has only 202h in R22 (another 250h in small
planes).

Our Pathfinder endorsement requires 300h helicopter for CFIs to give
instruction!

Does anyone here know of a possibility to let this CFI get his first
instruction hours with students?

Is there any insurance that insures CFIs <300h?

Of course no pre solo students and advanced maneuvers. But some CC-chart
holder tasks shouldn't be more dangerous than student solo flight.
