Wonderful. You know that there will be a lot of kvetching by conservatives
once Clinton gets a ship named after him. But the Navy started down this

A German commerical liner taken over the the US Navy during WWI.
Need to move on to GM lines; perhaps a Chevy or Pontiac, hmm Pontiac,
honor the indian cheif, that could happen.

There have been several USS Mercury's. I believe the last was a repleshment
ship (AK ?) built during WWII.
