One reason is that some of the panels are made from different materials -
some are plastic or glass fibre or metal and they 'take' the paint
differently ( it also fades and wears differently). Some are also affixed
slightly unevenly and reflect the light by different amounts. And some
panels are removed from one airframe and put back onto another which may be
older or newer and a has faded to a different degree. Also where they cover
radar or radio aerials they often can not be covered with paint so tend to
be a different colour or shade. It is probably a combination of these
things that you see here.
