So where is the E-6B? The camera platform I assume?
I used to be a NAV/COMM officer on it's predecessor - the EC-130Q.

I was sitting in the observer seat holding the camera up to the 'eye brow'
window.

What is the "observer" seat?

It's a non crash capable seat right behind the pilot and just in front of
the nav table. Makes for a crowded cockpit/flightdeck. It can be removed
but 99% of the time it remains in place. Usually the 2nd engineer or third
pilot occupies it during T/O or ldg.
