at the weymouth nas in massachusetts they had a hanger for airships. as a
kid i was in it on a tour during an airshow. a smallplane flew in one of the
massive doors and then back out the same door.

At the Goodyear Airdock in Akron Ohio, they would fly three airplanes in
formation through it (mid-1930's)
