This is what happens when you are in too big of a hurry to take notes...
All I am certain of it that it is a reproduction of the first US Army
aircraft.
HELP ME NETKO (or whoever...)!

Not THE, but one of the early variants produced.
The original is on display at the Smithsonian in DC.

the one at the smithsonian is the first wright flyer.
the one at the air force museum is the original plane the army bought... it
differs from the first plane in that the pilot and passenger are sitting
and not lying down.

the wright's called all thier planes flyers. they sold several to various
countries.
