That's a stock photo of an AC-130H. I believe, from my sources, the
aircraft used in the strike was an AC-130U.

That's a stock photo of an AC-130H. I believe, from my sources, the
aircraft used in the strike was an AC-130U.

i must admit, when i first heard the report about one of these shooting up
a wedding celebration in afghanistan i laughed,
it as instanly obvious, the AC-130 was on patrol near a wedding where the
locals fire large bursts of tracers up as fire works.....
just one of those things that make you go hmmm

What happens if the enemy is on your right? It reminds me of the old joke
told to American tourists about haggis hunting: they have two long legs on
one side and two short legs on the other, to make it easier to run around
hillsides. To catch them all you have to do is chase them the *wrong way*
around the hillside.

the left as need be.
