Amazingly, this is history repeating itself. Rotary A/C engines were used
very early in motorcycles as well as A/C. See
http://www.answers.com/topic/rotary-engine. I particularly like the
attached pic of the German 1921 Megola. Nothing new under the sun, I'm
afraid.

Well, not to be a stickler, the Megola is indeed a ROTARY engine, the
chopper has a RADIAL engine. Just clarifying.
