Nope, it's a corsair. Note:

- the much fatter look;
- the 6 wing hardpoints;
- the lack of elevate center wing;
- the single cannon opening at the nose, right ride of photo.

And why do you think it is an F-8 Crusader? The Crusader only has one hard
point on each wing (http://www.vmf235.com/west-ordnance.jpg) not three.
There isn't any sigh of the "wing jack." Where are the cannons? The intake
is too small. Do I need to continue?

Then where are the guns? I don't recall F-8s having those hard points.
The intake does appear a little small though.

Heaven is where the police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics
German, the lovers French and it is all organized by the Swiss.

Mostly because of the smaller intake. Looking more closely I see the IFR
probe on the starboard side. It is possible that the wing incidence has not
been set yet.

A-7E , VA-147.

The F-8 had:
- Sharper pointed radome
- Thinner intake lip
-Guns on the starboard side
-IFR probe that was covered by flush doors (not sitting in a recessed well)
-no wing pylons
-the AOA landing lights are in a different position
