View Full Version : Parowan Pilot entry list

February 22nd 07, 07:25 PM
New list, should be up this evening. The cut off is 50
entrants, plus 2 contest organizers slots, plus 4 guest slots, for the
USAF academy, approved by the Rules Committee Chairman. Making a total
of 56 slots. We do have a sniffer, he is not a entrant in the
contest. If the USAF withdraws, we will use those guest slots for
formal entry.
Remember, early entry closes May 1, 2007. Within 2 weeks
after closing, you will be contacted concerning your application for
entry, and that you are accepted, or on the standyby list. Its still
over 2 months to go before early entry closes, we do expect changes,
so just stay tuned. Remember, the last several contests did drop off
to 48, and 49 entrants.
Charlie Spratt is still shown as CD. As you have heard, his
health is in question. We will contiune to show him as CD, and our
prayers are with him. Charlie " Lite", has agreed to be the new CD,
and his wife, Mickey, has agreed to be our daily host. Mickey, also
will be working in several different areas of the contest. Both
Charlie "lite" and Mickey are welcomed additions for the Parowan
contest, and they bring with them many years of contest experience. We
welcome them to our Region 9 Parowan soaring championships.
