I recall seeing and hearing these fly over our farm in northern Iowa when I
was a young lad. The sonic booms would scare the cows into a mini stampede!

I always thought that the B-58 looks as though it was designed by Gerry
Anderson!

I see some some semblance of design in the B-58 and mid '50's
GM automobiles. Chicken or egg - Convair was likely the originator.
