Origially posted to this group by someone
else on 03/14/03.

Mister Holman has a persistent habit of reposting other people's pictures
under his own name.
I remember him reposting a series of original scans I made and posted of the
Convair XC-99 without any mention of who made the original post.
Mister Holman is a naughty boy and deserves a rap across the knuckles.
Regards,
Herman

You scan the work of others and then demand credit
when it is reposted?
I never tried that with the image I have scanned and
posted and seen reposted - maybe I should try.......;)

Mitchell,
Personal, I enjoyed seeing your posts and I'm sure others have too.
Presumably, this is the very reason for this NG? While this work might be
the work of another person. It's not always possible to know who the
original photographer was. Particularly, if they were taken 40 odd years
ago.
Thanks for your interesting posts
Regards....Chris

Thanks. I have taken great pains to respect the
sig lines and sources in the images I post. In fact
I was the one who alerted the group about someone
stripping Glenn Aldertons' name off his images and
reposting them to the wallpaper group. A discreet
but visible sig line is a good idea all around...;)

Heaven is where the police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics
German, the lovers French and it is all organized by the Swiss.
