As Charlies Spratt would say, race fans, they are here. XX, DB, 7F,
E9, 2W, DUO, OE, A8, TO, GV, 5U,YO, 7U, RJ, ET, and more. . The last
few days, skys have looked like west Texas, with climbs approaching
8-10 kts at times. Today, bases were higher and lift was stronger than
yesterday. Check the OLC for some of the flights. This is pre-
practice. and the last few days, the towpilots of Seminole have gotten
everybody up fast. 30 launches, 3 towplanes, about an hour. Of course,
when you tow off and hit 5-8kts at 1500, most of the guys help, and
get off early.
As always, Ingrid and Knut are making everyone welcome, and we are
getting ready for a "good" contest......errrrrr...thats John Good as
CD, as Spratt man can't make it. Our prayers are with Charlie, and we
hope to see him soon on the race trail.

Now, the big news. The Willat family (of Warner Springs Gliderport)
now has a baby girl.
