To anyone that knows. a couple questions; these aircraft the Su-27,
30, 33, 35 are either copies of our planes or it's just the natural
way jets much evolve. Did they copy? 2. they seem to have a lot of
twin tail models, does one really need that many, or were they not
good enough, so they had to keep trying...

Care to explain how you got to that understanding? The Russian aircraft have
their own distinctive design style. I assume by "our" you're saying "US"?

They have twin vertical stabs because supersonic airplanes need lots of
vertical surface area, especially if the vertical surface is not as far back
as you might like to put it. with two engines mounted way back and all
their stuff it is hard to mount the vertical stabs further back. The easy
way to get it is to have two tails.

Witch, that they copy, they do it all the time, everyone that has been
around the block more that 5 times knows this. Ever seen their
Shuttle, hard to tell the difference from a distance. They even have
the little tiles all over them.

That's what I like a real answer, instead of some claptrap,
multiculturalism BS. Twin tails, I was a boy when the twin tail Vaught
Cutlass was out, I thot it really cool, as a design, a kids point of
view, but it didn't seem to do too well for the military, flying
problems? Thanks a lot.

BTW, I have an idea for a way to save a lot of money on the tires of
airliners and others, but want a cut if I give the design away.
