Here's the story:

WILKESBORO, North Carolina (CNN) -- Authorities searching for a
12-year-old Boy Scout missing since Saturday found his mess kit
near where he had been camping with members of his troop near the
Blue Ridge Parkway, officials told CNN Sunday.
I would like to suggest, that airmen who are interested in assisting
in aerial search procedures might volunteer their efforts and
coordinate with:
David Weldon, the search commander for the Wilkes County,
North Carolina Sheriff's Department.
Wooded, but leafless trees. Night temperatures in the twenties.
