Hi all,

I am thinking of having a week or so at Minden in early
June, however I am hearing some negative reports on
the commercail operation and would like to know if
any one who has a gider with reasonable cross country
performance based there would like to do a glider swap.
I have half share in a fully competition kitted LS6c
based in UK which could be made available.

Regards

Ged

I am not sure who is giving you the negative feedback, but I have had
some of the best experiences in gliding there. Hassle free,
professional, and really nice folks. I have been there twice. While
there you should probably take advantage of some instruction too -
Mike Moore is probably one of the best instructors in the country.

Good luck.

Hi
I went there last year in August and have nothing but praise for the
folks
and their operation (Soar Minden). I am going again this year in July.

Don't know if MM is the best in the West, but he is certainly GREAT FUN
to fly with. I fully agree with everything else UQ says particularly
about the other folk at Minden.
