Spent the weekend on a trip north and saw this license plate on a van.

Pan Am. What a name someone should start an airline with that name. Maybe
to be more formal it could be "Pan American" Sounds great, its a wonder
no one has ever tried it before.

With a name like that it would be a natrual for flying all over N and S
America. Who knows maybe even all over the world. Then it could be called
"Pan American World Airways" If you did that you can probably use a
stylized globe for a logo. Blue and White.

What a great idea.

Hello,
That's a nice picture; thank you for posting it. However, for future
reference, the group has, by consensus, elected not to welcome
yEncoding. Their attachment, so to speak, to Outlook Express eludes
me, but it is their choice to make.

Good pictures Bob. Maybe someone will post a Boeing 314.

I've got a Pan Am Airbus, taken at Filton, Bristol in England. My
apologies for the quality.

It has been awhile since I have been in the terminal at Miami, but every
time i am I try to figure out how I can steal the 314 model hanging up in
there.

Years ago I worked with guy that used to say that not all of the 314's had
been accounted for and he was convinced there was one out there someplace.
That was in 1972, so perhaps someone has since figured out what happened to
all of them.

One of the few commercial aircraft that onetime or another I have never
seen in person.

The original posting opened fine on my Mac. Maybe there's a plug in for
it in OS X...
