A used Portable Hand Control (to enable a paraplegic to pilot) for either a
Cessna 150/172 or a Piper Cherokee 140/160/180.

Mr. Leonard Millholland in Texas rigged up a plane for such a person a few years
back. He runs an ad for (1/2 VW) and Legal Eagle U/L in Kitplanes,Sport
Aviation, etc.

You may have to manufacture something the faa should approve it if its safe!
If they deny it I bet the ACLU would have fun with the FAA if they denied an
approval for something you manufactured to make your airplane adaptable to
your disability.

There is an STC for the Pipers PA-28, PA-28R and PA-32.
The Fred Weick Hand Control For Rudder Pedals. STC SA472SO

Fred also designed the Ercoupe which is available without rudder pedals and
a hand brake.

A company in Florida is manufacturing sailplane trainers and offers hand
rudder controls. By the way, this is perhaps the first time that the
manufacture of a certified aircraft has been moved from Europe to the United
States. The FAA paperwork involved is awsome!

Gary Sipe in Tulsa Oklahoma has a set out of a Cardinal.. He may hadve
STC'd them by now.
