Can anyone clarify for me the Open Class rules for the Pribina Cup?
I'm looking at the results for Day 1. I expected the order of placing
to match the order of scored speed, but it almost looks like the
scoring is handicapped. However I cannot find a mention of this in the
rules.

I noticed that too. Are they handicapping within each class?

Tuno,
The sun getting to you? http://www.pribinacup.sk/2007/document-and-rules/
under "Local Procedures for Pribina Cup 2007"
When you click on that pdf it opens.....at the end of the 1st page
The Competition will be held in the following classes:
· Club Class ("Proposed IGC index list 2007" will be used for scoring.
Sailplane with index less than 96 are allowed too, but will be
scored with index 96)
· 15m Class with handicaps (DAeC index list 2007 will be used)
· Open Class with handicaps (DAeC index list 2007 will be used)
Above Local procedures you can find the DAeC index list.

Haven't seen the sun in Manhattan Beach in over a week, G-man, I wish
it would come out again :)
I can't find the 304S in any of the handicap documents. I would assume
that they would assign the same number as the Ventus 2C/18 or the
ASG-29/18M, but they both used index 120, the 304S (IH) and V2C (CZ)
would have had virtually the same score on day 2.
I'll poke around the contest bulletin and see if it's in there ...
