Kent Pietsch in his 1942 Interstate Cadet, thrilled and entertained the
crowd yesterday while trying to land on a runway he added to the top of his
Recreation Vehicle durign the Eglin Air Force Base Airshow. While landing
on his RV, Kent cannot see the RV, making this landing very difficult.
Yesterday it was impossible because of the heavy crosswinds. He tried four
times but it was just too dangerous. Nonetheless, he put on a fantastic
show both in the morning (when it was overcast and windy) and in the
afternoon (when it was sunny and really, really windy).
