Does anyone recognize the emblem on the fuselage of this F4B?

It is the Boeing Bug adopted in 1926 and used as the company trade mark
until 1942.

The picture is actually of the Boeing Model 83 - prototype of the F4B - P-12
series. It is in the Boeing Company livery - silver overall with green trim
on the fuselage and tail and international orange on the top of the upper
wing. The photo was taken at San Diego NAS during Navy tests in 1928.
