Now that ACR has release the new MicroFix personal ELT, I have decided to
sell my stock of the AeroFix units at a low cost to reduce inventory levels.

I,m confused. As I read the CraggyAero website the AeroFix is
available for $490, not the MicroFix (which is listed at $640). Is
there a special discount in place here that the website does not
reflect?

Johm,

Craggy Aero has both the MICROFIX 406 GPS PLB (2898) and the AEROFIX
406/ONBOARD GPS/+I/F (2799.4) PLB.

The 2799.4 has the special price of $490.

The 2898 price is $640.

I wasn't going to post this, as I prefer to support glider businesses when
possible. However, since other competitive links have already been posted, I
think the lowest advertised price for the MicroFix type PLB is at the link
below.

The ResQfix (same unit as the MicroFix but different color, blue instead of
green, *and* the ResQfix comes with a floatation pouch that doubles as a
protective case), available for $550 from (note the last = may not copy . .

Probably because they purchase in large quantities, there's a lot more
boaters out there than gliders, and internet sales tend to be competitive?

I've found the on-line marine supply places have some of the lowest prices
on RV stuff too. I purchased a Prosine 2000 watt inverter for $1200 that
Camping World was selling for over $1800.
