Please fill us in on some details: was this the first prototype, what year,
what model, etc.? Thanks. Dr Who

I posted a full-width detail cropping of the people in this photo two
times - neither one appeared here. Probably too large @ 1.9meg.

If you want to see it, click here:

Let me know if you recognize anyone in the image. I think the president of
Curtiss is the second from the right.

Sorry, there is no info with the photos. I assume they are the factory
rollout pictures of the Condor.

They showed up here on the RoadRunner (Time Warner cable) news server. The
first one was 317KB and the second was 165KB. Nice pictures!

Thanks for your reply, Don. I researched this on Google and found the
following excerpt:

''The Condor airliner, developed from the B-2 bomber, first flew on January
30, 1933. It featured retractable landing gear, better streamlining, and was
more comfortable than earlier airliners, but it was still a traditional
biplane design with fabric and metal tubing construction. A total of 45 were
sold domestically and abroad. Although it provided some badly needed cash,
it was out-of-date as soon as it was built and failed to lead to any more
designs. '' Doctor Who
