R. Dean offered these thoughts for the group's consideration of the
matter at hand:

About how far away do you figure you are from these planes? Got a
number for the approximate mm of focal length your telescope would
be the equivalent of or the number of times it is magnifying? These
are all nice photos, but I assume that the effective "aperture" of
the telescope is small, meaning you have to up the ISO on your
camera which seems to cause noise in some of them.

Now, if you could get these pilots to fly lowers, you wouldn't be
looking at the underside of all of them! <grin>
