Yesterday, on the Minnesota State Capitol grounds, the formal dedication of
our new WWII Memorial was held. 22,000 attended the ceremony, including many
thousand WWII vets.

<select> Album: WWII Planes (ANE) 6-9-07

My airport (ANE) was the staging spot for the planes used for the fly-over.

On the ramp:
3 .... B-25's
3 ... P-51's
9 .... T6-Texans, etc
1 .... Vultee BT-13 (http://www.bt-13.org/aircrafthistory.htm)

No shows:
1 .... P-40
1 .... P-51
1 .... C-47 Dakota (DC-3)

I didn't have the camera on me when they returned an hour later. They did
some fly-bys of the airport - very cool.

The (nine) T6-Texans did a "break" to land (or some such verbiage) in groups
of three, from "....2500 ft".

I think you should change the name to "MontPaul". That's shorter than
"MontAirplaneOfMinivans" :-)
