I'm visiting Long Island on a business trip on 21st
June and not flying back to the UK until the 24th,
so I've emailed the Long Island Soaring Association
with a view to spending Saturday 23rd with them. The
thing is, I've not had a reply . . . so does anyone
know if:

a) they're still in existence?
b) they're happy to accept visiting glider pilots from
the UK?
c) have an alternative email address I can use?

Thanks in anticipation
Steve

According to the SSA website of places to fly, Long
Island shows two sites. The info given says that the
Long Isaldn Soaring Association requires membership,
and the other one, further northeast, Sky Sailors,
does not require a membership.

Check the SSA web page and 'Where to Fly' for more
info on both these places.

Thanks Nyal
I've had a look at the SSA web site, and I'll keep
trying them both. I'm sure one of 'em will take my
dollars off me!

Cheers
Steve
