I came across two very short videos of a Hind. What do you make of these
flight characteristics? Is this normal autorotation for this bird??

Not really. The hind has wings as well. Those stubby wings with the
missiles are designed to provide lift when moving. When it stopped the
wings were no longer effective and the tail rotor started to turn the
fuselage.

Must be an artifact of the camera. ( wagon wheel effect is old westerns.)
