Is this a prelude to the next multimillion governmant subsidy?

Somehow the picture of one zipping along above a line of stalled cars
and then running out of ground effect at an intersection 15 ft in the
air springs to mind.

Wouldn't having to rent that big crane for the safety tether make
it pretty expensive and a little less fun?

Dunno, hoss.
The didn't take mine.
It never showed up on the list.

Do you think it might be because I was more critical of the
news service for not researching their "great stories"????

I thought they would throw in one with each vehicle...mounted on a
mobile unit of course. But back when he put the "flying car" on sale
last year we asked if the tether came with it. Answer "No".

I had a mental vision of this thing a couple of weeks ago. Picture a 1950's
Disney cartoon with Goofy, in this case played by a Moller investor, flying
happily along with thr computer keeping the craft level. But wait! The car
is approaching a downward cliff! The computer can't see the cliff, it's
hard to detect a cliff. Goofy isn't even looking. Out into free space the
car goes. Without ground effect, the car can't maintain altitude and
"Yahahaoheychrunch" goes poor goofy. Ah the Moller ground effects machine,
a wonderful invention.

Anyone know how to do a flash animation and put it on youtube?

I keep thinking of all the "my mower won't start, my weedeater
died,...etc threads. Just how long is the average person going to
keep 8 of those engines running simultaneiously?

That's the beauty of it, Harry.

They're NOT!

But that won't stop the money from rolling in...

The computers will take care of it. Just like they make sure the cable
company never screws up your service or your cell phone bill is always
perfect fair and comprehensible.

Even if he got it to work, the 45 - 90 minute range and the 250 lb.
useful load are deal killers. At 10 feet off the ground, the thing
would have all the handling of an air hockey puck.

One other problem is that would travel downhill very well, but probably
wouldn't climb anything steeper than a very shallow hill. So, no matter
where it starts, it'll end up trapped in the saddle between two hills.

Ooh what fun!
