So would that plane have the range to fly from Australia to the US.
If not what sort of range and fueling stops would it have to make.

Australia-Singapore-Japan-Alaska-Mainland US would
be my guess for stops.

I don't know what the Irwin's arrangements were, but for commuting between
the US and Australia, direct flights by a couple of airlines are faster,
cheaper and a ****load more comfortable.
For 2 or 3 hour trips within the US, the private jet would be perfect.
Can you imagine 20 hours airtime across the Pacific in such a small plane
with two kidlets ?
You'd only do that once.
