I need help I am building a moni and need to skin the wing I can get as long
as I want but it is only 4 foot wide

Dick Schreder also used 5 ft skins on his designs, and John Monnet learned
at his feet. In fact, he probably bought the skins from Dick, who had to
buy some fantasticly large quantity to get any at all slit to that width.

My suggestion is to lap the skins on the lower side, just aft of, or on, the
fwd spar. Keeping the lap there will have the least affect on both the
strength of the forward D-Cell, and on the air flow. The relatively hi
pressure on the underside of the wing will keep the airflow nicely attached.

Do not build a Moni relying only on bonding, or your doom is assured. Use
flush pop rivets, either stainless steel or monel (or, on closer spacing,
Avex flush aluminum), per the last plans updates before INAV went under.

I've got .025 in the 5x12 size. But it costs about as much for the
shipping as for the aluminum.
