Fon du lac fees

I made a stop at Fon du lac on the way to Oshkosh this year.
I bought fuel, paid my bill and left.

Yesterday I got a bill from the City of Fon du lac wanting $10 for parking.
There wasn't anything posted, nothing mentioned by the FBO...

Has it always been this way?

I don't remember paying anything at Fond Du Lac ten years ago when we
left the plane there for several days during the show, but things change
I guess. How long were you there? If you were just there for a fuel stop
the charge seems excessive, maybe they made a mistake and thought
you stayed overnight?
