Parachute for sale

Para-Phernalia Long-Softie parachute for sale, manufactured 4/88.
Repacked 5/07. My rigger says it is in fine condition. Overall
condition of the container/straps is very good. It was properly stored
for 10 years. I am selling because it does not work for me in my
sailplane.

Trades for backpack style chute considered. $450 shipped conus.

There may be no fixed service life for Softie parachutes but many
riggers assume a 20 year life, and some won't repack regardless of how
good the chute and container looks after 20 years or age. Which might
make this 19 year old parachute not much of a bargain if your rigger
won't repack it - check with your rigger.

Try Ebay. I've seen 25+ years old parachutes sold for almost $500.
