I have always suspected that correctness, is the refuse of those who have
nothing to offer.

The Wingnut has spoken, thought you did not have time to read here any more?

It seems likely that you are correct, sir.

Since he's making $10 million a year now, it just cost him $20 to
write that.

But it's probably not him, since it didn't have any obscene language
in it.

Did you maybe mean "refuge?"

And that polite conversation ended when gentlemen quit wearing

On the other hand, the complete lack of meaningful content is consistent
with his usual effort...

Maybe, but 'refuse' works, too. It can be used as a noun - it means
trash, garbage, that-which-is-discarded. Those who have nothing to
offer throw correctness on the junk heap. Awkward construction, but
it works.

In a backfiring sort of way, I suspect. :-D

Yes, you are a good example.

In the present case, Jer, it's more a case of pearls before swine, but
feel free to think what you like. It don't bother me none.

Yes, sir.
Truer words have never been spoken.

Although Wingbrat is chronologically older,
he mentally is in the same old stunted juvenile rut.

Yes but when he was 14 you could excuse it as youthful ignorance. What is his
excuse now?

Willful stupidity!
