Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your new camera. I suggest going over
to dpreview.com and browsing through the Pentax SLR forum. Lots of good

Here's a tip for jpeg settings. You can choose from a lot of different
combinations but here's one that I like:
Image tone: bright
Saturation: +1
Sharpness: 0
Contrast: -1
I happen to like a lot of saturation, a leftover from my Kodachrome
days. You might find that too much saturation for some subjects.
And when I'm shooting something I consider important, or in poor
conditions, I shoot RAW. I also tend to use -0.3 EV for bright sunny
conditions to help preserver highlights.

I thought it was us Ektachromeys who were saturation freaks! I always
thought of Kodachrome as more natural, which is why I liked the kick
from Ektachrome.

$1079 including shipping..
I quit smoking 15 months ago.. and according to "silkquit" software. I
have saved $2954 thus far... So I've still got $2,000 of "reward"
