Was this aircraft actually considered or is this just someone's wild idea?
This was posted on another site and while I know the Bugatti race plane is
real, I have never heard of a military version even being considered.

An order was placed end of 1939 for 2 a/c. The armament was a 37mm
cannon in the propeller, and 3 machine guns in each wing. It seems that
it never went further than a project status.
