I was at my local airport taking photos of a Cessna 180, when I heard a jet
taxiing. It was a new Cessna Citation Mustang. They dropped off a couple of
passengers, and then left. I spoke to the pilot briefly, and he said that
they just got the aircraft a couple of weeks ago, and that this was the 17th
Citation Mustang built. This is one quiet jet, it ought to make a bunch of
airport neighbors very happy.

I am posting 4 photos. They are in camera jpeg's, and definately aren't up
to Glenn's standards. However it is a new model aircraft so I thought it
worth posting. Camera was a Digital Rebel XTi with Efs 18-55 kit lens, and
Sigma 75-300 for the take off.

I kept the file size below 130k for those with slow connections.

These are great photos, nothing to be ashamed of at all. I only wish I
had remembered to grab up my digi cam the other day when my wife flew
home. She got to fly in on a Lear 60 with the CEO of the company. What
a beautiful plane. They let me walk over and get up inside it to look
around it was beautiful inside. She was kind of scared flying on a
"little" plane, but once she got home she wanted to do it again, anytime!!

After some brief research, I found out that this Mustang belongs to Cessna
Corp in Kansas.

It has a very busy schedule:

What a beautiful bird. I hope to see one soon.
