Hello Everybody,

I am considering purchasing a two-seater trike to fly, as recreational
activity, in NSW, and in ACT, hence I need friendly expert advise
about trikes.

(NSW : New South Wales and ACT: Australian Capital Territory, ie
around Canberra and Sydney Australia)

The major criteria that I think I'll consider are as follows;
* Safety
* Availability of reliable service and spare parts
* Simple operations/handling and stable flight
* Long flight duration
* Capability of carrying two person (around 150-180kg in total)
* If possible shorter than 300m take-off and landing distance
* Existing user community in NSW and in ACT
* Price

Can I ask if you can comment, advise me about how should I select
trike?

PS. I have paraglider, hangglider, single engine airplane, and glider
flight experiences.

Frank K.

You may get more knowledgeable responses to your inquiry by including

Yeah, most of us on this site fly the dangerous 2, 4, and 6 seat
aircraft known to be the preferred weapons of terrorists all over the
world because of their hefty loads in excess of 500 lbs and high
speeds over 100 mph. You know, the ones everybody in D.C. (and
Chicago Mayor Daley's office) are deathly afraid of.
