I have a tow hook, with a Husky A1-B attached, based at Minden, Nevada. If
you are flying out of Truckee, Minden or nearby, you might keep my number
handy for the occasional aero retrieve should you find yourself in a bind
and all else has failed. (i.e. you have tried all the commercial operators
first and they are unavailable to help).

Please note that I'm retired and not looking for anything resembling work.
And I certainly don't want to compete with any glider FBO - - thus the
requirement that you try them first. I'm not a commercial pilot so cannot
charge for my services, though it would be considerate to offer to "share my
costs" as allowed by the FAA. Also, there will be times when I won't be
available to help or it may be that I'm also soaring and have the phone off
(leave a message).

If you're off-field, it would be nice if you've chosen a good landing site.
As a low time tow pilot, I'm not looking for too much excitement. However,
if you've been able to land there safely, I'm sure I can get in and out of
there with no problem as the Husky has remarkable short field performance,
(though with a glider in tow it may be another thing entirely). Cell number
is 707 373-5075.
