View Full Version : Hellcat wing-flap question (0/1)

Sometime ago I made a 3D model of a Hellcat and made
animations with it.
Of one detail I am until this moment still unsure and that is
the mechanisme of the wingflaps.
In all the reference material I collected I can't find any real
detailed information.
I included a picture where the wingflap is in a outward position.
The hinges don't look very strong on this but I am sure in reality
they are.
That's why I would like to ask if someone has more detailed pictures
of the mechanisme. Thanks in advance.

I included some stills of the animations.

Thanks for this information.
Always nice to hear of someone who actually flew the plane.
If you happened to have pictures of your planes(s) I could
make a colorscheme out of them and post some renderings here.

Kind regards,
