Am I the only one who hasn't received the October issue of Soaring Magazine?

This is strange. Like me, none of my friends in southern Idaho have
received theirs.

We had the same problem here in Colorado for several months from about
last December until about June. SSA members east of I-25, north of
Denver were getting copies very late. I think the USPS facility was
mis-interpreting the delivery month/date. Somehow it got straightened
out. I'd guess your's are in a regional or local center awaiting the
next monthly magazine cycle and you'll see them about the 25th or so.

Just my swag,

Mine showed up yesterday. It is chronically late but the mail sevice
in Tehachapi has been poor / bad since I mover here in 1989. That
year they caught a mail delivery guy who, instead of delivering mail,
was dumping it in his garage and watching TV. Got caught when the
mountian of mail began sliding ou beneath the door. Many mnagazines
are late and have been taken from their sleeves and apparently read.

Tax dollars at work.

Actually, this is one of the many the joys of privatization.
(http://usgovinfo.about.com/blpostalservice.htm) We
need to do this to more agencies, since it's worked
so good for electricity/gas, mail, etc. Who needs reliable
infrastructure with functioning oversight anyways.
