My apologies. That image seemed to be clipped some. Here is another try at
it.

Thanks. If I am not mistaken, this picture was published in the Worldbook
Encyclopedia in the mid 60s.

You know how hard it is to get a family together at one time for a picture?
:-)
BTW - no T-28 or T-34 either

Well, there was that incident between the T-28 and the F-104's wife.
Things were pretty tense back then.
B-58 has always had a problem <glug glug> if you know what I mean ....

Yeah, but you know that B-36's problem was even worse! He was hooked on JP4
*and* gas and usually did both at once!
That problem seems to run in the family. :0)

And no T-33, a mainstay at that time.

The B-58 was still in flight test mode in 1958, it wouldn't be operational
until 1961. The F-104 became opertional in January1958, but was grounded
soon after due to a succession of accidents. The photo may have been taken
during that period.
Other missing USAF aircraft of 1958:
Boeing B-17, served as target drones and drone controllers until1959.
North American B-45
Douglas B-66
Beech C-45
Douglas C-47
Douglas C-54
Douglas C-117
Douglas C-118
Fairchild C-119
Fairchild C-123
Convair C-131
Douglas C-133
Republic F-105, first production versions delivered in May.
Bell H-13
Sikorsky H-19
Vertol H-21
Kaman H-43
de Havilland L-20
Aero Commander L-26
Cessna L-27
North American T-28
Convair T-29
Lockheed T-33
Beech T-34

Well, the H-19 is smack dab in the center of the picture. The B-66 is to the
left of the F-94C, which is left of the H-19. But, you are right about the
rest of them.

Poor editing.

Most of the below listed aircraft were already outdated at the time of the
picture. Still used as base ops and special purpose assignments. The first
aircraft assigned to the B-58 Test Force was "Hustler's Mother", a C-47.
And since in the early days of the Test Force, we had no other aircraft and
many hands available, it was very highly polished. It was used by the B-58
Test Force Commander. As far as I know, there were no Wings or Squadrons of
most of the aircraft listed below at the time the picture was taken.

If you look at the very top of the picture you will see 15 T-33s up
there.
