NTSB has released a couple of animations of runway incursions at SFO and
FLL:

Makes you hold your breath.

While the video may be an animation, the ATC audio seems real enough.
Here's the correct URL:

http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/i_video/main500251.shtml?id=3475145n
Two runway incursions are shown in this handout video from the
NTSB: the first at San Francisco Intl. Airport on May 26, 2007,
and the second at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport on July 11,
2007.

Thanks for the correction. It looks like I grabbed the URL after it
jumped to the next story.

I was riding in the tailgunner seat of the Evergreen B-17 at PDX during a
volunteer appreciation ride, and we had a similar incursion that caused the
pilot of the bomber to try to go around...he didn't have enough runway so as
soon as he crossed the 28R he slammed on the brakes. The left main brake
locked up, the tail skidded and the whole back of the airplane filled with
burned rubber smoke.

That was surreal...one second I'm having the time of my life in solitude on
the little bicycle seat in the back of a B-17 (facing backward), bummed that
the ride is almost over, and the next thing I know we're skidding sideways,
I'm getting banged up against the plexiglass and there's smoke everywhere.
Then, just as quickly the pilot regained control and took it to the south
hangar as if nothing happened.

They had cleared a commuter jet to land or take off on the crossing runway.
I'm not sure which but I saw him go overhead as we started to skid. That
was in 1996, I think.

You're welcome.

No. I don't think so. I found the URL you posted in the browser
address bar while viewing the video. I copied the link from the page
in which the video appeared, not from the address bar. Strange.

ATC: Sky West 5740, sorry about that.

Sky West 5740: Oh sure, don't give it a another thought. We are going to
need clearance back to the gates so the passengers on the port side can
deplane to clean out their underwear.

Seems like the left seat might want to think about looking out the window
before crossing an active runway...
