According to an e-mail I had with Doug on Saturday when the server was
balking, the domain is being moved to a new server this week.

Domain registerations are available to the public. SSA.ORG's registration
informaition can bee seen at
http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=ssa.org.

I am sure the SSA will renew the domain's registration prior to the
07-Dec-2010 expiration date.

Its usually easier to fire up your "whois" command line utility (type
"whois ssa.org" and hit RETURN) or, if you don't have a copy, use a
public web-based whois such as CompleteWhois http://completewhois.com/
than it is to work out who the domain's registrar is and then work your
way through their website.
